Professional Bio
As Deputy Secretary and Chief Mental Health and Wellbeing Officer, Pam provides stewardship and leads significant reform of the state’s mental health and alcohol and other drugs system. In this role she is responsible for ensuring a more inclusive mental have and wellbeing system in Victoria, and the continuous improvement in the quality and safety of mental health and wellbeing services.
Pam was previously Senior Executive Director of Mental Health and Wellbeing Transformation. Before joining the Division role, Pam was the Chief Executive Officer of Mental Health Reform Victoria, which was responsible for the Royal Commission Interim Report recommendations.
Prior to this, Pam’s experience includes a number of senior public policy, public sector management and engagement comes from roles, including Director of Public Engagement at Oxfam Australia, Director for Work Health at WorkSafe Victoria.
