Peter Larter is a highly respected health strategist and health economist with a strong record of impact across Australia's community health and public health sectors. As Managing Director of Larter Consulting, Peter leads a multidisciplinary team that partners with health services, government agencies, Primary Health Networks, and not-for-profit organisations to design, evaluate, and implement sustainable, evidence-informed solutions to complex health challenges. 

He has a strong reputation for designing and evaluating service models that improve access, equity and integration — particularly for populations affected by social disadvantage. 

Peter’s leadership in the sector began during his role as MBS Industry Advisor for Community Health Services in the Victorian Government (2008–2010). This position established his profile in community health and led to longstanding relationships with many public health services, whom Larter Consulting continues to support through strategy, workforce planning, service design and evaluation.
